After 12 months, the researchers used MRI scans and memory tests to evaluate the cognitive performance of research participants.
They found that the participants who had played yoga had higher visual-spatial memory enhancements .
The yoga group had developed better coping skills and stress resilience, and they had reduced levels of stress and anxiety.
It’s extremely common in elderly people, restricting their freedom and sometimes preventing them from enjoying their favorite pursuits.
A recent study published in the Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience discovered an intense 8-week yoga program eased the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
The researchers also discovered that toga reduced the emotional distress of rheumatoid victims.
The study team found that yoga led to improvements in markers of neuroplasticity, inflammation, mobile health, and cell aging.
Basically, it slowed the aging process, enhanced the player’s mental health, and reduced the inflammation that causes rheumatoid arthritis.
To put it differently, it helped to maintain the participants youthful!
